The central blossom bloomed this morning. At the right is the flower that bloomed yesterday. It's pistil & stamens are enclosed in the wilting petals and tomorrow it will be limp and darkening. The large blossom in the back was beginning to change as I looked at it several times today. Perhaps it's tomorrow's gift.
To any who might be further interested, we purchased clippings that looked like one leaf from a flower club years ago. You can see the junction where the leaf can be broken off and I see two there that already have some roots. Just pressed into dirt, they grew, sprouted new leaves and now bloom annually.
