We were hurrying back to our daughter's home when we left the botanic garden, but Ken took a wrong street that set us alongside the mission. It was just too good not to stop! I was told to take five photos and hurry back to the bar*...and that's just what I did! (*Oh, I just couldn't change that typo...too funny!) (We got back with time to spare...) I can't wait to return to go inside as I haven't been there in years. Beautiful, isn't it? The fountain is part of the original structure, but an earthquake destroyed much of the building in the 1920s, so it's rebuilt from that era.
@steveh You didn't catch MY typo above... when I read your note I thought at first you were talking about me! Thanks for the nice note. I've been trying to learn to use HDR and I'm absolutely loving it!
This is so beautiful! What an amazing fountain I would imagine there is much history at this place. What kind of "beverage" did you order at the "bar". 😉
