I'm posting photos about as fast as I'm taking them this evening! If you recall "Fred" the cat from last year...he was by for the first visit I've seen him... then two juvenile raccoons...and now this young one! That face! Those little fuzzy ears! The darling mask & eyes! I think they're just irresistible!
On tonight's menu was the standard cat kibble topped with Halibut skin , Baked apple skins and marshmallows... (OK, "eccentric", yes, I know...)
***update*** I was ready to turn in for the night & heard a little rukus...looked out & there were two...so I got some more pictures...and as I stood watching them, two MORE came up...more squabbling! I refilled the dishes again!
@teiko Oh Emily, sounds like we're two of a kind! I just left an update...4 young ones (juveniles) were just up on the porch...probably little mates earlier this spring...
They are so cute, but quite pesky to say the least. I've been trying to capture our night robber for month.....he sneaks in to the bird feeders in the wee hours. Great catch!
Oh, Louise! This reminds me of a commercial for eyeglasses. A woman goes to her door in her nightie, calls "here, Kitty, Kitty!" and a raccoon comes sauntering in as she closes the door for the night. ;-)
Raccoons are not the safest of creatures to hang around, disease carrying and all that. Although, they are so cute! I'm enjoying catching up via your postings. Yes, a different world that the rest of the year!
