Ken and I went to see the water colours the students had prepared for this evening's critique and I was so impressed with the caliber of the work! I heard several people say how greatly improved it was over the Sunday show, so to the students, "Well done"! Each summer we have artists paint, show and sell their work to the community. If these young people showed their work in the same venue, I know it would be sold quickly. There was a lot of talent int hat room, and some of them may help change the face of homes and cities in the years ahead!
@digitalrn There was some really good energy in the room! We were greeted by the girls, but with 70 students milling about, we were just a part of the crowd!
Beautiful, I too love to see the talent of the younger generation. I work at a High School here in Ontario I should retire but I would miss the kids. The talent they have if encourage can really be breathtaking. We have a silent auction once a year at the school and I take this opportunity to buy one of their paintings or etchings. I display them proudly in my office and at home.
