What an amazing farewell sunset! After dinner, Ken, Ashton & I walked to a different location on campus for my day's-end photos...I could see it was going to be spectacular. This may-or-may-not be "the best" of the lot...I sped through them and decided every moment was glorious...how do you choose.
It's been an amazing trip, a wonderful time with the families, wonderful strolls and new sights to see and photograph. A part of me hates to leave... and a part of me can't wait to see what changes have taken place in Nova Scotia in our absence. We have friends waiting for the goodies I'm "importing"...I had them give me shopping lists! I found the Mexican cinnamon, tortillas, a case of really excellent taco chips, guava paste and even tins of a Mexican food I'm not familiar with, so I'm hoping my friends will make me something delicious to try!
New adventures lie ahead. We head to the airport at 4:30 AM and don't reach Halifax until midnight. I can weather it... Perhaps I can go through *some of my photos* on the pane before my battery dies!
What a great trip you had, and so many wonderful memories to cherish!! This is indeed a beautiful farewell! Too bad we cannot clone ourselves to be everywhere we want to be, but I guess that's why we have internet and Skype! Have a safe trip back!
Beautiful. How wonderful to have been able to spend time with your kids and their families. You have some wonderful photographs to look through on your way back to another amazing place. I love how you and Ken live life to the fullest. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us!
