Now For Something (almost) Completely Different!

I've been enjoying the "Hangitall" challenge started by @olivetreeann and @summerfield and love seeing the possibilities that have been suggested amongst the players. I've also taken greater note of what's already hanging on the walls as I've visited a few different doctor's offices! (The orthopedists have some awesome canvases of sports action photos. The mammogram waiting room, pretty generic K-mart paintings of "Italian courtyard" scenes...) So how about this for "different"! I had to take a photo as I waited for my MRI...liking it primarily as it's definitely thinking out of the box and quite unexpected! Nicely paired, too, with the unusually framed images in between. There were several more hung in the hallway on the way to the machine... I noticed JT, summerfield, Ann, Bill, Sally and Lin nudged this idea with strong B&W and silhouettes.

Just wanted you all to know I really do think about all of you and your creativity when "I'm out and about"! (Woohoo... *out and about*!) Yah, well, sorta...
Those are fabulous! Definitely something to think about trying out. Now I just need to get my head around photographing some humans!

@salza It was you *beautiful painting* of the zebra that set me to looking through all the rest that have followed! Your artistic talent is really fabulous! Thank you for enjoying seeing what struck me when I saw this!

okay, there's an idea. my intended post for tonight would be a repetition of what bill had posted today which made it on the trending page. as you know i don't want to be a copycat (except for the wheelchair if i get a paper cut or something!) and i have to have a posting for madhatters tonight, too. so which one of my selfie should i be cropping to get to this? dilemma! 7 days to go and i'm about to choke with this challenge! tee-hee!

Very nice! I like the shots.

Well, now that IS different for a doctor's office. It looks more like a gallery show. That would certainly get your mind off the reason you're there if you're trying to figure out the meaning of the pictures!

It is funny how the themes change your attention.

How'd the MRI turn out!!!? Good, we hope! Well, we got to the Sprint store this afternoon and DID get new phones, even an upgrade. Thankfully, John got hold of someone at Sprint Customer Service who knew what was going on, and she told our local Corporate Sprint store what to do about it.

Love the capture and the narrative! Stayed in a hotel last night with my LOML and there was a picture on the wall that was a poor rendition of your layers. Thought that right off! You could SO kill in the hotel art arena! Fav for me

@kevin365 Oh Kevin...you're about the best! I'm just kinda smiling and shaking my head! This whole "layer thing" seems quite popular right now in the decorating arena...throw pillows, furniture fabric, decorator items...and Weezi's *greeting cards* hahaha! Really though, (sorry if I've already said this before) but I've been doing mixed media collages for probably the last 12-15 years, so this transition to that imagery in this form is a segue for me from the tactile "old photos, water-color crayons, colored pencils, hand-carved stamps, ephemera, paper, etc etc!" Should have gotten my act together long ago to have gotten a jump on that curve! I hope that didn't step on your very generous compliment...actually about the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me about my projects! ♥

@Weezilou So you walk in with all that going for you! Your images and artistry kill. Only one way to find out ...

Never a moment when 365 is not present in your mind! Great idea for a post, and some very interesting wall hangings.

Such a powerful collection. Definitely not what one would usually expect in a waiting room.
