Every time I think I've likely captured every mood of this scene, I open the pictures and I've been treated to something new. This late afternoon paired high tide with the largest boulders, still exposed, and lovely lighting. I didn't have anything more to add but a RAW adjustment, and I believe it looked just like this at the dawn of 1900.
Thanks Allie! @allie912 This setting is referred to as "The Three Churches", but it's not as easy to see the one on the right. Is that "Norman" styling? There are actually 5 church spires that can be seen from the correct & wider perspective, but two are set further back in town. As you might imagine, this is a well-photographed location (which is why I had Bill @bill_fe and Vikki @summerfield pause here for their take on it!)
this came out nice. i still haven't looked at my photos from this day or most other days i've gone photographing. just trying to eyeball what i could use for my challenge.
One of my favorite things about Nova Scotia is the churches. I was struck by them my first visit and always had to stop for a few shots. Nice captured here.
When I did return from a visit of the U.S.A Ina ask me what`s the most remarkable you`ve seen . I told her , the many churches. We have one or two maybe three in a village. In the U.S.A. you find one by every five houses.
