I'm adding another moon photo from last evening as this I'll tag 100happydays2015. With the help of Bill, Ken pulled up an app showing exactly where the moon will rise, and he was so enthusiastic to try it out, he packed the tripod and a chair for me to sit in and off we went! When the moon first began to rise, it was so pale, it was almost impossible to see (and the sun was shining right on it). By the time the sun was lower, I thought I'd be disappointed that the moon would look smaller, but here, it's the same size as the house across the water! We stayed out for well over an hour, and was quite pleased with what I was able to capture. Best of all, I had good company all the while.
This is just gorgeous Louise. And the story is downright adorable! :) I noticed as I was going to bed last night that the moon and the sky looked amazing - but I was way too cross eyed tired to try to capture it...
Beautifully captured. I am rather lazy when it comes to capturing the moon as I just stumble into my garden or into the road to catch the top of the mountains with it!
aces! aces! aces! didn't see the moon until it was well up in the sky, golden and large and looming seen from the back window of the car as we were stuck on the 401 traffic back somewhere near kingston. living vicariously through you, my lady. again, ACES!
Fabulous capture of the moon! Sadly I missed it completely. Too many birthday celebrations (not my own) caused me to lose sight of my priorities! ;)
