Where's Waldo? by Weezilou

Where's Waldo?

(aka, Ron), and why didn't he go home with the flamingo?!

I didn't see it (lower left) until I was looking at these on the computer. HAD I seen it, I'd have placed it front and center and Friday would have been taken care of! These are so "Tim Burton-esque" and oddly strange, but there's a somewhat whimsical cuteness about them. Of course the very last thing *I* need is another cute little dust catcher, but I do wish Ron had seen that flamingo!
Ah, man, how did we miss that?!? I think my train ticket just might work for a few more hours - gotta get back up there!!! Nicely spotted.....sort of. ;-)

ha ha ha -so clever - I had to look 3 times to find it!!

@stray_shooter Interesting, isn't it, that we photographers self-congratulate for seeing so much that the rest of the world might miss! And then there are moments like this, when I saw two colorful rows of chachkies...Save the moment...and that's all I did...

I saw nothing!

I surely missed this one too. And it took me a couple looks to find that little flamingo too..... Where was Ron when you found this display. Knowing him, he would have spotted the little guy immediately. @stray_shooter

@aglennc He was practically at my elbow, having just taken the picture of him with the skull! Of course I photographed it, and never saw the flamingo!

I had to look a little before I spotted the flamingo too. That's an extraordinary collection of whatever-you-call-them.

@golftragic Instead of "Where in the World is Waldo?", I might better have asked "Where in the world do people know what to call these things?!" (Their obtuse cuteness is beginning to grow on me...)

@golftragic It struck me that these look like a pairing of minds...Mexican culture meets Japanese toy maker! @stray_shooter , too!
April 20th, 2017
@Weezilou Very good point Louise. Maybe a topic for someone's thesis??? Just joking, of course. Love your thought about pairing of minds, very funny.

Looks like a cross between Day of the Dead and Road Accident victims!
