For this week's get pushed, this shot represents Autumn in my part of the world. Set by @lynnb I was asked to showcase autumn in Australia. Apart from changing colours in the mostly imported trees :-), cooling weather brings fog and mist to my neighbourhood.
Great capture. Wasn't the weather crazy today. So much rain this morning that they closed King Street in Newtown due to flooding! Glad it's calmed down a little.
It's lovely but what makes it so much is the wonderful composition- the curve in the road which is echoed in the negative space between the trees - gorgeous. Fav - I love that
Awesome shot! Great how the road and sky melts together and parts the picture. The vivid colors of the umbrella form a nice contrast to the foggy environment.
There is something quite mysterious about fog. I love it especially when it involves hiking or curling up with a book. There was a 95 car pile-up on the North Carolina - Virginia border due to fog this past weekend. I'm thinking none of those people are big fans right now.
So soft and foggy. We very rarely get fog where I live. We got fog last night and I captured some shots. Then it snowed. Then it rained. This is very inviting.
I really like this, the contrast between the muted tones of the environment with the bright rainbow umbrella are perfect and the composition is spot on, fav!
Thanks everyone for your encouraging and motivating comments :-) and favs
