Disappointment

This could very well fit in get push challenge set for me this week. I have been asked to show disappointment.
I did a 4 am start again on Saturday, this time for a city sunrise. This golden glow is all I saw (and the 4 other photogs who were standing next to me, also having made the effort).
I did like the dynamic sky, therefore sharing it

Well, it's not a glorious sunrise, so a good one for disappointment, if that's what you were after. But it is a really lovely photo. The sky you got, including the bit of dawn more than makes up for lack of showy sunrise. I'd say you came out ahead.

i completely get the disappointment of a non-appearance of the sun at sunrise... but i quite like the moody skies and the glow on the opera house in this... they make for a wonderful shot on their own :)

For what it's worth, I don't think I would have looked at it if it was the usual sunrise shot. Love the dramatic clouds, the bluish light ant the warm orange glow. Never seen a photo of the Opera house like that. Fav
