This is it. The mark of completion of my project! I'd compiled a list of things to say, but it all feels a bit too surreal at the moment...
I came across this website by chance; just a random search on Google, because I'd read about the idea of a photo a day for a year on the EOS magazine 1 month after purchasing my DSLR in June 2011. Even though I originally opened my calendar in July 20'something 2011, for me, my project really began in October when I discovered this wasn't just a website to post photos, but a community of the most enduring, positive minded, caring, supportive and inspirational photographers AND people.
My goal was to learn more about my new expensive toy, and really just so I could say "I did it!!". But as time progressed, it became a whole lot more than that.
A few people have asked if I'd continue on here for another year, and as much as I'd like to comply, I'm certain it's not something I'll be doing, realistically speaking. Photography has exposed me to & made me aware of a lot of possibilities, opportunities and aspirations, all thanks to this project i.e. the community of photographers on here. And to take it any further (which I plan on doing), I have to pull my focus away from the project, because as much as I'd like the whole 365 project to be a fairytale, it was pretty damn har...challenging (er erm!!) >___< As far as regrets go, I wish I could've participated more in the challenges and competitions, but I chose to happily spectate for various reasons.
So, again, this is it. A very bitter-sweet feeling and moment for me...thank you all for persevering with me, your comments, humour (I loved reading your funny comments!! lol), motivations and inspirations (both pictorial and worded), and most of all, thank you for...nah, not gonna say it, too much sentimentality involved it's gonna make me re-think my decision of leaving here!!
I talked about opportunities - I'll be starting a blog in the next couple of months focused on creation of a photo, from planning to delivering/posting online/final release. My facebook page will be my main portal for updates, and of course would appreciate the extra likes on there >__<
Ciao muchachas!!!! (I'll comment on your updates now and again, as I'd like to still show support to my friends who haven't completed their project yet)

Good luck in the future, not that you'll really need it with your talent :)
Good luck with what you do next and keep on taking those pictures! See you on FB, and thank you for being inspiring, and for all the kind comments.
