Rainbow bridge was replaced by a basic beam bridge that spans the river right next to it. While trying to get my night shots of the rainbow bridge I noticed I was getting some nice starbursts from the sugar factory on the hill, so I set my camera on a west side abutment and took some long exposures. There was not a lot of traffic, but I managed to get one car headed north, and one headed south, creating the light trails on the neighboring bridge.
Wonderful photo, April. I love the light trails from the cars dividing the shot, those wonderful starburst and the steam/smoke from the factory. Lots going on!
Very Cool! I was wondering how the lines from the head/tail lights were so amazingly even ... I see in your comment that it was just one car in either direction. I think that gives this a very unique and interesting look! Fav!
I like how the light lines are the only colors out of the gold/black tones of the rest of the photo. Those light bursts are great too!
