The goal this morning was to get a water droplet from a melting icicle. That is a lot harder than I thought! Between poor focus and a slow card I finally gave up and turned my attention to the melting snow on this old chicken house roof. I like how this drop caught the blue sky amidst the more earthy tones of those old wooden shingles.
Wow! Great catch! This is so detailed, you can see the water yet on top of the shingle as it's flowing into the drop. Love how the reflected sky is the only blue in the photo, and of course all the bokeh is a big extra WOW! bonus.
