panning

ONS today was action. I thought "panning". That is a lot, as in A LOT harder than I anticipated. I sat in the parking lot next to the highway and tried and tried and tried and tried. This is the only clear one out of I don't know how many. At least I got one!

Were you shooting through a car window? There is that interesting rectangle ghost in front of the car.... these are harder than they look....you did good! I was hoping to get surfers in the water, but it got dark before I could get there...:-(

@panthora I leaned against the hood of my car and snapped away. That rectangular ghost is a slender highway sign post. I had hoped for more background blurring, but couldn't get the camera settings, the light, and my movements all coordinated.

I've only ever done it once and you are right it is crazy hard. How on earth do they make those great looking commercials? :) Wonderful capture.
