Keeping watch

This was a landscape and wildlife workshop, and the leader of our wildlife field trips was amazingly well informed on who might be where. He also let us experience the use of his cameras and lenses and did his best to help us get the best shot we could. This young owl fledged the day after we watched it. This day, though, it was great fun watching it interact with its mother. If you have a moment for a more detailed look, or to see a few more images of these two, I am posting more workshop photos on my flickr page here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/98229280@N08/

@bill_fe Thanks. Yep ... I'm Canon .. he's Nikon ... and I think he said it was a 1200mm zoom lens ... it was HUGE! But it took you right up on the ledge with these two so it was just a matter of watching for the right moments.
