Phojo has gone, so I resorted to my first love .. macros, and am slowly catching up. Thought I'd see what I could find in the windbreak, where I surprised a buck and doe. Hunting season has opened, so I waited until they sauntered further down as I didn't want them to leave the windbreak and venture into more open fields. We have a few Ponderosa Pines, but they don't really like our soil much and don't do particularly well. This tree, though, had a lot of cones lying about.
