floating glass by aecasey

floating glass

Well, drat. Masking went much better this time, but now I see that because my foreground and background are the same and I used a clear glass you really can't see the floating effect very well. It just looks slightly odd. Oh well...wonder if it's ok to just drink the wine for lunch and practice more later. Or, maybe, drink the wine and do a macro tool for that challenge. Hmmm... Stay tuned ....
CottiaC @cottiac I tried another levitation. It went much quicker this time, but I still have a lot to learn, as you can barely tell this is floating. Thanks for the push. I definitely ventured out of my comfort zone.

Great effort! The light is spot on, and it does require an extra look to see what's going on. Nice :)

Nice shot! Maybe if you would have tilted the glass it would be much clearer it is actually not on the table. I love your bokeh too!

@aecasey I see what you are trying to get but my eyes won't trick me, makes a nice shot though and the main thing is you tried something new. I often find myself continuing even after the challenge is over!

I can honestly see the float too. Got a chuckle from your thought process of what to do next with the wine.
