Three of my nearest and dearest (eldest, youngest, and my sister) had birthdays this past week. We didn't get to celebrate together, so here's a little beanie babies bear (oooo! alliteration ...) sending Happy Birthday wishes to each and every one.

I've enjoyed looking over your portfolios and your photos are very varied in their subject making this a bit more of a challenge So, I think for this week I would like you to try your hand at a creating a blackout poetry diptych. Information on the blackout poetry can be found at this site http://www.powerpoetry.org/actions/5-tips-creating-blackout-poetry and in addition to the 'writing' the diptych comes into play by adding a picture to accompany the story.
