My challenge this week from Brett was "to try your hand at a creating a blackout poetry diptych." I remember when Lou @louuncouth used to do this. I went to have a look, but the old albums are gone ;-(
I went with a holiday theme .... 'tis the season!
Oh ... my poem is a bit small and hard to read, so, here it is:
cheerful spirit
jingling bells
greetings warm as hot chocolate.
colorful lights
and snowy pines
jolly
holiday
Brett @brett101 Though I had hoped to do another, this is most likely my only blackout poetry response as I'm a bit under the weather. I love playing with words and combining that with an image is wonderfully creative. Great challenge ... one I plan to revisit in the future.
That is an awesome response to the challenge, so well done!! I was going to refer you to Lou's photos as well because I've used them as a reference in the past but they were not available.
@aecasey - I also enjoyed it when I did it some time ago and your talents in photography definitely warranted this creative challenge! Hope you are feeling better soon April.
