There is a small flock of starlings that populate the feed yard. Husband hates them (rather messy), while I enjoy them. I wish there were more so their murmuration forms were more pronounced, but even so they are great fun to watch and such pretty little birds.
Starlings are always like a gang of bad lads, they flock in to the bird feeders and eat the lot. I always go and scare them away when I see them on the feeders. Dang nuisance they are, but the starling murmurations are something else, so i'll put up with them just for that.
