I've been following lensball on instagram. I love the nighttime cityscapes filled with star bursts, multi-colored bokeh street lights, and light trails. ***sigh*** no such thing here. Still, got out my old crystal ball and gave the mailboxes a try. All I can say is thank goodness for clouds.

It ended up working really well! I haven't used my crystal ball in months -- good idea to get it out again. I like the crispness within the ball and your choice of DoF to get the soft background.
