While out looking for farm machinery to "grunge" I stopped for fun at this old squeeze chute with its oil barrel working "table" top. It's a bit weird, but I liked the mix of rusty red, chipped blue, and the reflections. Once again, processed in Lightroom, Color Efex, and Topaz Texture Effects.
Wendy @farmreporter I am rather bad at really reading my challenges, so when I went out I couldn't quite remember if it was farm "machinery" or "equipment." I don't know if this fits, but it is a hydraulic squeeze chute, so it is mechanized. It was a huge deal when we bought it decades ago, as it was our first hydraulic chute. We've since moved the working facility, and it sits by the horse pens, mostly unused. I thought it grunged up in an interesting way so I tagged it.
Very cool! I do not know how people own cattle without these chutes! You are so lucky to have a hydraulic one - ours was purely manpower!
Great grunge look and another FAV!
@aecasey hi -- we're get-pushed partners for next week: I'm really liking these grungy farm implements and was wondering if you'd like to bring this challenge indoors, to photograph something indoors in a grungy style. (I can come up with another challenge if this does not appeal.)
Great grunge look and another FAV!
i really like the colours.
