Francoise challenged me to do some food photography...outdoors. Had to think a bit about favorite outdoor foods, and s'mores are definitely one. Wish I could have had a fire in the background, instead of the garden, but I don't have a camp fire, fire pit, or chiminea that I could use. Hmmmm....wonder if I could find a chiminea on sale this time of year. Need some place to toast those marshmallows!
Francoise @francoise ... Here's my first attempt at outdoor food photography. Wish I had a fire ... used the flowers to show you it was outdoors. I have a lot of trouble setting up still life and food compositions. May have another go at this ... though not with the s'more makings.
I like it a lot. The flowers in the background really underscore the beautiful daylight that is illuminating the food. And you've chosen outdoor food, to boot; the denim is totally plausible given the casual nature of making smores.
