a mother's touch by aecasey

a mother's touch

My father loved apple trees, and he shared that love by giving me several dwarf trees for my yard. They are all prolific, though two are rather tart. Those apples I leave for the wildlife ... bluejays, raccoons, and deer. This afternoon a small group of seven deer were visiting the trees ... two moms, their young, and a little buck. I liked how this mother was cleaning her young one after their apple dinner.
So beautiful and tender. Nice story
