There have been birds tucked into the fine canes of the lilac bushes. Sissy decided she'd try sneaking up on them. She found a fairly thick, sturdy cane near the top of a bush and climbed out to the end where she sat waiting to surprise an unsuspecting bird. None ventured near, and she gave up shortly after I pointed my lens her way.
