The aftermath...snow, slush, mud. Birds must be ever optimistic, though, as they were out and about splashing in puddles and seeking seeds and worms.
Lordy, what a week. In the midst of the storm my computer decided to throw a tantrum and stopped working. I threw my hands up, walked away, and started shopping for a new one when my son came in and suggested we reformat and start over. Thankfully I had just done a Time Machine backup not that long ago, so I said "go for it." After he got it back up and running I bit the bullet and installed Mojave, knowing I'd lose my beloved Nik collection forever. Still, I would have lost it anyway. So, hours and hours and hours later I have a new operating system, I've got my old Lightroom up and running, and I ventured into the free download of Topaz Studios. I'm debating investing in Alien Skin's Exposure, but for now I'll see what I can do with Lightroom, Affinity, and Topaz. My daughter sees this as a blessing in disguise, forcing me out of my comfort zone. I'm struggling to be even a little enthusiastic. What a week!
A fabulous capture to make up for your frustrating week. Good that you got it all running again. How come Nik is lost? I only downloaded mine a few months ago? I would not like to be without Topaz Studio, it is what I use 90% of the time. I do have the full package though. they often have specials which are very cheap. Good luck with your new setup :-)
This little chap looks slightly confused and who could blame him. The DXO Nik Collection is currently priced at 59€ with extra features over Google's version...
I like this...a lot! Am fond of dandelions, normally much maligned, and whilst they quickly look care worn, I VML the blooms with those super petals. Splendid Spadger too!
@vignouse@ludwigsdiana Now I am confused. I run Lightroom 6.14. When I looked at the compatibility I thought the DXO Nik collection for Mac only ran with the Adobe subscription Lightrooms and Photoshops. If it will run on my old cd installed Lightroom with Mojave OS I'm going straight to the store!
