I visited the sunflower field this morning in hopes of seeing monarchs. I saw a few, but they were deep in the field. Walking back I discovered that there were more settled in the windbreak than out and about. Their numbers have slowly been growing the past few days. I am so hoping to see them en masse as they gather and travel south.
