There seems to be one lone monarch that flits through the yard every now and then. I'm not sure if perhaps this one doesn't migrate, or if it is just very late in starting its travels. I do hope it knows that it is lingering a bit too long, as the weatherman is hinting at a dip below freezing mid-week. I do love seeing these beautiful butterflies, but I think it's time it went on its way.
