I gathered a few milkweed pods and seeds before the snow. I'm hoping I can get some more started around my yard. It's not a particularly attractive plant, but the if it helps the monarchs I'm going to encourage it to flourish.
Good for you! I was pleased to see some on my travels through the state this past week. The awkward stage of the plant is worth the beautiful cotton puffs at the end of summer!
