Mary challenged me to try food photography this week. I saw this cookie kit at Target, and thought it would make a fun food photo. Believe it or not this took me two hours to put together, and though it's cute I'm not even sure I like it that much. Oh well ...
Mary @mcsiegle A food photo ... I tried to get a photo of the beginning of putting this together, and I even used my live view, but the compositions just didn't work, so all I have is the finished cookies.
I like this, your whites are white, the slight angle works well, your
non edible embellishments are well placed. Maybe a cloth or napkin to drape and hide the shadow on the left ? But that's just picky!!
It's a great fun shot, and shows it wasn't just plonked and snapped. Perfect for a food advert
One year a friend and I decided to try our hand in making a gingerbread house from scratch. It only took once for us to realize that it wasn't in our wheel house.
Hi! I have a challenge for you this week. Use a tree (any part of a tree or the whole tree) to make a fine-art photograph. If it helps, here are some examples: https://fineartamerica.com/art/photographs/tree
