summer haze by aecasey

summer haze

It was hot (over 100 F) and dry this weekend. Yet our days are numbered. A flash freeze with snow is forecast in a scant 36 hours. Crops are not ready for harvest. I still have loads of tomatoes on the vines. Most of the leaves are still green! We are going from summer to winter in the space of a few hours. Mother Nature is not being kind this year.
Beautiful shot. I have read about large swings in temps expected for Colorado. That will be tough.

Oh April...how unsettling, scary, disappointing. The haze adds wonderful light here

Such a pretty shot. Sounds like you may be somewhere in CO.....stay warm & safe in this winter blast they’ve predicted.

A last look at summer's beauty. Hope that you can rescue or save as much of the harvest as possible.

A gorgeous image and wonderful tones. So sorry about your winter weather, hope you can keep your tomatoes safe and rescue some of the crop. Mother nature certainly is not kind to you this year, hoping it will not be as bad as predicted.

Our forecasts have been so wrong (no rain for weeks). Maybe you'll be lucky.
