Took mom out for a drive today. We visited a pond where we used to fish when I was little. It's changed drastically but is still a lovely spot. There was a small group of geese near the shore enjoying the water. As I approached they moved onto the ice. It wasn't a simple transition, though, as the ice kept giving away beneath them. It took a bit of finesse and some wing lift to get onto more solid footing.
