“If men had wings and bore black feathers, few of them would be clever enough to be crows.”
~ Henry Ward Beecher
These birds fascinate me. In Christian tradition, the crow is considered evil. However, I align myself more with the Native American view which reveres this bird as an oracle of divination and magic and a symbol of rebirth and change. This bird "spoke" to me today and so I must listen...
awesome bird, and a shot that makes it justice. Couldn;t agree more with Mr. Beecher.
By the way, have you observed crow parents protecting their offsprings? I have the chance almost every spring, and they are awesome parents and families. That can be so rarely said about humans... Some humans don;t belong in the gene pool. But that is an entirely different topic.
I knew this was yours as I scrolled down. Beautiful capture and great processing!! Crows are such clever birds and I think we as humans could definitely learn a lot from their social skills!!
