If our kids were human, I doubt they could be any more excited about tomorrow morning. They are just about besides themselves with anticipation after spotting Santa filling their stockings this evening. (I really thought Mr. Claus was way sneakier than this.)
A couple of years ago we were kind of bah humbug about stockings for dogs and didn't fill one for Tenaya. Really. Bad. Mistake. His face literally fell when we were done with the gifting and he didn't get his turn. He pouted for hours. We went out and got him some toys the next day, but it wasn't the same. This boy (and now our new kid, Moki) absolutely understand what a stocking is for and they will never, EVER, be left out again.
Our dogs know what presents are too! Our one will actually unwrap his own! I can't imagine the kind of trouble we would be in if he didn't get presents to open on Christmas morning just like everyone else! haha

Lucky puppies as well! We don't do a stocking for our dog, but he does get a wrapped present each year :)
