Murder 101

Another gray, dreary day today so we celebrated the New Year with a clean house--woot! Of course getting the clean house meant having a mega chore day--not woot! But did at least manage to take a few minutes off to shoot the neighborhood crows for the daily pic number 101.

Today was fun also because my mom (aikimomm) joined the 365 project today, how cool is that?!

haha so totally over my head with the OU haha, i guess its football?

this is a great shot, again, but i will confess, rather YELL how much i hate crows, there's gazillions of them in our suburb and surrounds, groan they make a horrid noise.

however, you've managed to make them look quite relaxed and nice hehe ;) and a PERFECT silhouette

@jjsooner For sure! Gawd, I just hate watching their bowl games sometimes. I mean why pick their biggest game to SUCK every other freakin' year?!

@taidster Heh heh, yeah, those birds can get rather loud at times. However, I find it so much more pleasurable than the usual sirens, screeching cars, and other assorted loud noises around here! And, yup. It's college (american) football bowl week and Oklahoma is my team of choice.

great shot Jenn - love the mix of stillness and movement.. I'm wondering when we are all going to stop saying "it's another grey day..." though we have woken to some blue and some sun so i'm nipping out now before the weather puts it's miserable hat on again!!

I love those two in flight - beautiful, blurred and serrated edges to the wings - there is something of the birds of peace in them that gives a feeling of hope in the gloom in this pic - hope that makes sense :-)

Awfully nice - I love silhouettes (and birds) anyway, and responded to this shot on a personal basis. I know those crow-filled trees and hope I can remember to photograph them myself when I'm next out there! Also, I like the non-distracting way you've dealt with the ownership issue.
