Wow, what a creative and unique idea!!! I love the contrast of the brown toast to the white toaster and white/soft blue background... So fun and a fantastic shot!!!
What a great idea! Your editing is getting really good. I like the background. Really draws me into the subject, which I'm sure was tons of fun to shoot!
Fantastic and fun, Jenn, really creative and beautifully executed. The title and ownership info (is there a better name for that?) are frosting on the cake (or salsa for a really good chip).
Fun! I understand. I take food pictures every week for my facebook page. I usually am doing the cooking as well and it's not easy to cook and take pictures at the same time. ;)

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! Only two pieces of toast were harmed during the making of this shot. ...of course, many many shots were taken to get the toast to pop just right! If you're interested, two shots were used to create the final. One (the hard one!) was of the toaster including the toast being popped (by my lovely assistant, pixelchix!) and the other was without the bread. I merged the two and erased Heather's hand which was activating the springs. Of course, the toaster was unplugged so as not to burn the house down with so many attempts! ;-)
