Today we took a drive with a good bud out in the country, not knowing where to go exactly, or what to expect. Our days always turn out wonderfully when we let Life take hold of the reins and today was no exception. We didn't get a whole lot of great shots, but we were treated to an incredible assortment of rare wildlife today. We spotted a Red Fox, a bobcat, some Tule Elk, a Golden Eagle, Great Blue Herons, too many different birds to mention, the list goes on. A good day indeed!
I shall be catching up with you all tomorrow while I enjoy the playoffs and being lazy. Hope your weekend has been fabulous!!!
@hellcat YUP ! ! ! I actually really liked Denver for a city (I'd MUCH rather live there than LA), but I'm much more a small town girl. I do miss the mountains, but at least we have those relatively close as well. Still visit Denver yearly, tho, and still a die-hard Bronco fan (ugh, what a year.)
ha ha... yes, the Broncos have been having rough year. Maybe next year will be better. Denver is that perfect mix of city but small town, at least in a lot of ways. What do you make it back out here for? Fam/friends/events? I've browsed through you and Heather's albums, next time you're out it would be interesting to see CO through your eyes. Love the distinctive styles you each have.

Thanks, everyone! It is such a joy to see these birds let alone actually get a photograph. :-D
