Not an especially creative shot today, but this little Junco was just too cute flittin' about our fence, looking for good eats. Apparently it has a baby in a nearby tree, but I didn't get home in time to spot it. This has been such an amazing year for birds in our yard!

that is just beautiful! love the colors in the background. I have yet to get a decent shot of one of these. I don't see them too often. A friend of mine captured one on video admiring himself in a mirror on her camping trip. You gotta see this - hang in there until close to the end. He starts escalating.
