The Fremont in San Luis Obispo is truly one of THE coolest Art Deco movie theaters ever! Stopped by tonight on the way home from our camera club meeting in hopes of snapping a fun shot of all the neon and such, but it turned into more of a scoping session, shooting just this snapshot instead. I really needed my wide angle, a taller tripod and the cooperation of the cars which kept parking in my way. Plus 1/2 the lights weren't glowing, what was up with that?! Anyway, I do look forward to returning under better conditions, maybe catching a flick while I'm there. ...just none of these!

A wonderful theater it is, and worth visiting with all your stuff. Though this is a mighty fine shot already; I like the off-center floor design, and such great colors.
Hey, I've known this theater since I was a kid (and that's a long, long time ago, thanks for the birthday wishes) and have never seen it look so cool. Great composition and treatment.
