This photo simply cannot state just how startling this was to discover. This was shot from a high first floor window which I could not reach to see in. I popped the flash on my little point and shoot, guessed at a manual focus setting, got up on my toes, held it up over my head through the bars in the window and snapped.
I expected filth and graffiti. To see the red pop up on my LCD dang near scared the crap outta me as Stephen King and "redrum" instantly flashed to mind. I mean, what would possess any institution to paint a room at a Juvenile Hall solid red fer crissakes?! Major creeps. ...But strangely cool--love what's left of the urinal!
Oh this is amazing. The urinal is very funny. The red would have startled me also. Great capture. Must have been really cool to look and see what you caught.
@idonotsqueak The first think I thought after the startle factor was that this place is truly haunted and it's playing tricks on my sensor. Then, yes, for a moment I did think of "The Shining's" redrum--whoa!

haha yeah i noticed the urinal lol, but yeah, doesn't red stir up bad moods/emotions in people? green or soft blue i thought was the way to go lol, much more calming lol. really makes you wonder...
