Gander Napping

I manage to catch this older goose having a quite nap in the glow of the intermittent sun.

He or she seems to be enjoying the rest; I think I can detect a hint of a smile on the bird!

Is it meditating or dreaming or just tired? Who knows but a bit of gander napping no doubt will have done it a world of good.

That is a lovely portrait of a napping gander, he looks so peaceful.
