Well I'm not sure exactly what these two guys are actually doing to the facade of the Vermont Hotel in Newcastle, a shot I took whilst visiting the city, taken from the Tyne Bridge.
The Vermont, which opened in 1993, was formerly the headquarters of Northumberland County Council.
The building was built in the 1930's.
In 1997, it became the city’s first establishment to be awarded three rosettes in the AA Rosette Award scheme.
It has welcomed the likes of composer Engelbert Humperdinck, promoter David Gest, and Geordie duo Ant and Dec. Kelly Brook played an Italian temptress in the film School for Seduction, set at the hotel apparently.
