Let everything that have breath....

Psalm Chapter 150 vs 6 says 'Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord'

Taken above the entrance to the now defunct Weatherspoons pub called the Sir Isaac Pitman.

It was built as Trowbridge's first Market Hall in 1860 by William Stancomb, one-time Lord of the Manor and a member of the wealthy woollen manufacturing family living nearby.

The Hall opened for traders in 1862. A large cattle market was later added at the rear.

The original Italianate-style frontage still stands, with verses from the Bible carved on the arches and Stancomb’s Lamb and Flag crest on the gable.
