An old 'cupula' or 'cupola' depending where you are from; residing in parkland near Roundway in Devizes.
'Cupula or Cupola' is a relatively small, most often dome-like, tall structure on top of a building. Often used to provide a lookout or to admit light and air, it usually crowns a larger roof or dome.
@jacqbb I believe it was taken off one of the old buildings that formed an old hospital which had been redeveloped. Some of the converted buildings have them on. This one is bolted to a concrete plinth in the grounds.
