This GR post box at Capel Tygwydd was put up during the reign of King George V (G stands for George, R stands for Rex, which is King in Latin).

It was put up between between 1910-1936, therefore it is between 84 and 110 years old!

Apparently there are approximately 115,500 of these GR post boxes in the UK.



I like that they are still in use and love the photo!
