Been looking for an interesting sign all week, but with no luck, so I came up with the idea of the almost universal 'stop' sign. Photo didn't work out quite as I hoped (my model's arm got tired!), but after some dramatic processing I like how the red edge and white hand looks a bit like the common road signs we get over here... Not one of my technically better pics, but this is what happens when I try to be creative!
Hey - clever processing and you're right - a universal sign. A smile also speaks a universal language - a smile, a thumbs up and this stop signal. Good work.
I thought about signs other than written ones but didn't get any further than just thinking about it - this shot is a great way of carrying out the theme
