30-day Challenge: Day 3: Something that you collect

Had to think about this for a while... since living in Aus I've tried to avoid buying too much stuff without a purpose, for that day when I move back home to Blighty... But then I remembered - patches!
I started collecting them on a trip to NZ about 10 years ago, covering this jacket until there was no more room. I still try to pick them one wherever I go.

Here's a list of what they all are, in case you're interested (working L-R from the top to the bottom):
Bristol (UK)
Mt Stromlo Observatory, Canberra (Aus)
Parkes Radio Telescope, Parkes
Salisbury Cathedral
Siding Spring Observatory, Coonabarabran

Great collection. I have a friend who collected patches as she traveled the world on tour. That was many years ago and she treasures them and the memories they hold. Hope the same is true for you.

great collection! I started a collection as a teen and sewed the all on a picnic blanket, I haven't collected them in a long time, but your photo has inspired me to find the rug and reinvigorate that collection!

What a big collection you have. You've reminded me that I started collecting patches when I was young. I have no idea where they are now though! You've done so much travelling in Australasia!!
