30-day challenge - Day 19: Something you don’t have much of.
Moments when things go according to plan. They're pretty rare, but at least for the first 30 seconds of this concert dance rehearsal things went well... (I'm the dancer in the centre of this pic, right at the front, wearing the dress from yesterday's pic). Almost as soon as this pic was taken (by my friend Karen, on stage door) I started getting bits of dances mixed up and forgetting them... In the middle of the actual concert they changed the lighting and I ended up completely missing the middle of one dance, just standing around... of course, that was the bit when I was front-centre...
Those smooth moments are pretty rare the rest of the time too - but all the more precious for when they do come along; they are those times when the photo you plan actually turns out first time, or you drive home and hit every green traffic light, or you turn the radio on to hear your favourite song playing... :) So be aware of them when they do pop up, and appreciate them for what they are - little moments of magic :)
Great photo - and fabulous story. It's very true about things going right or things going wrong. They say we can manifest the good or the bad, by thinking them into existence. I'm thinking positive thoughts about your next performance - and I'm sure you'll be the star!
This is a wonderful shot! And, gosh, if everything went perfectly, we wouldn't appreciate those "little moments of magic!" (I guess that was your point, too :) ) Keep dancin'
