So this is it - the end of the 30-day challenge! I have to say, a month ago I'd never have dreamed of posting the right-hand image, but the comments from my 'handwriting' pic a couple of days ago, plus recent selfies from
@jannaellen @stkimage @peterauliciems and
@triciaanddazzle (amongst others) inspired and encouraged me to step a little out of my comfort zone.
So on the left you have my view of me - boring, busy, analytical, studious, shy, private, with a plain, simple style, a dancer (my pointe shoes are hiding there), naturally curious, and with one of my little feathered rays of sunshine on my head. (Magic is in both pics - Phoenix wouldn't have anything to do with them today!)
On the right is 'your' view of me (exaggerated courtesy of almost every option in Picnic!) - optimistic, animal-loving, a little goofy, creative, colour-poppin', happy, quirky, fun, whimsical, adventurous, independent thinking, photographing, lively in thought, teaching and first-aiding (I'm wearing my graduation gown and St John Ambulance jacket in the pic, though you can't see them now!) and of course totally over processed!
Of course, it's not possible to show everything. Those who suggested I might be deep caring, strong willed, kind, loyal, friendly, compassionate, passionate, principled - I'd like to think you're right, but in many cases it's not for me to say.
My favourite description was from
@netkonnexion:
Fun lovin', bird huggin,
colour poppin, problem solvin,
toy keepin, shoe wearin,
photo snappin, nature viewin,
flow'r shoot'n, macro catchin,
Uni teachin' kinda gal!
Thanks to everyone for your wonderful comments on my 30-day challenge - I really recommend it to anyone who is pushed for time, or has lost their photographic mojo - it takes the whole 'must find something to photograph' out of 365, and lets you concentrate on taking interesting pics - often outside your comfort zone because that's the only way to get the pic for the day. (Just don't start on a Wednesday unless you work weekends!)
Thank you all for challenging my view of creativity too - I've always thought creativity is something you work at - painting, writing etc. I've never thought of my pics as even slightly creative, but so many of you suggested that there is a creative streak in my project that I'm having to rethink my definitions.
If anyone wants to use the 'handwriting' idea, please go right ahead - it's definitely scary, but in this wonderful community it's really worth it :)

very creative of you and congratulations on finishing the challenge. I am nearly there but the last few days was a bit of a struggle as I was so busy.
